The wood is then chipped and pelleted along with proprietary plant-based binders that improve the finished product. Our fiber supply is sourced through suppliers that comply with policies set forth by the Forest Stewardship Council, Sustainable Forestry Initiative or the Forestry Preservation and Forestry Promotion Act, and consists of a variety of softwood trees including but not limited to spruce, pine and fir.
